About Gümüşlük

Gümüşlük is Bodrum's bohemian soul, a low-rise fishing village built on the ruins of ancient Myndos, whose submerged stones can be snorkelled in the protected bay. A sandbar leads to Rabbit Island, and the harbour's fish restaurants set their tables right in the shallows for the Aegean's celebrated sunsets. Strict conservation keeps it intimate and unspoiled, drawing artists, writers and discerning second-home owners rather than the marina set. Stone villas and boutique apartments sell in euros and dollars, with prime stock reaching €6,500/m², but the draw is character, calm and scarcity, values are scarcity-supported while real USD growth stays far behind the nominal lira headlines.
