Targa is the Marrakech district for buyers chasing value. On the city's western edge, toward the Atlas foothills, it has grown into a calm, family-oriented residential area where villas come with gardens at prices well below the central districts, with budget pockets between MAD 8,000 and MAD 10,000 per square metre. New development, local high streets and proximity to both Gueliz and the mountains underpin its appeal, and it has delivered solid annual appreciation in the 9-12% range. For investors the attraction is the lower entry point and growth potential rather than prestige. The cautions are its car-dependent, edge-of-city location, its reliance on continued infrastructure rollout, and a less established rental market than the centre.
