Shilin

Shilin is Taipei at its most varied: the leafy, cosmopolitan streets of Tianmu, home to Taipei American School, the Taipei European School and a row of international bistros, sit alongside the famous Shilin Night Market, the National Palace Museum and the trails and hot springs of Yangmingshan National Park. It is the city's most Western-feeling, family-first district, where greenery and English-friendly amenities draw long-staying expats.
